    DESCRIPTION
    VINTAGE SEPARATOR-CLASSIFIER DEVELOPER Field of the invention
    The invention relates to the field of destemmers intended to separate and classify the grape harvest, of the type comprising:
    a) a rotary grid, generally cylindrical, provided with a plurality of calibrated openings suitable for passing the grains and retaining the brooms;
    b) suitable means for dragging the clusters upwards of said grid during its rotation;
    c) a rotating shaft, called a barrel of spikes, that carries a plurality of diametral bars arranged spirally along it and that form opposite radial points suitable for receiving, by gravity, the clusters raised by the grid, to separate the grains of the clusters and to expel the brooms towards the exit at the end of the grid.
    Technological background
    Patent FR2863148 of the same applicant describes a destemmer of this type and the suitable means for dragging the clusters upwards of the grid during its rotation are constituted by a plurality of slats fixed inside it.
    It was found that such means have the following main drawbacks:
    - the grains that are separated from the clusters by the barrel of spikes only benefit from a reduced perforated surface as they fall back on other slats and thus successively decreasing the classification performance;
    - the increase in the number of slats has the effect that the surface of the calibrated openings will be further reduced and, therefore, the performance and quality of the classification.
    Exposition of the invention
    The aim of the invention is to make a destemmer (desgranadora) that eliminates the aforementioned drawbacks, replacing the slats of the grid with stems, fixed perpendicular to the surface thereof and separated from each other so that they allow the grains to pass.

    Said rods are grouped in the form of combs arranged along the generatrices of the grid perforations and displaced with respect to each other so that their operation is regulated.
    Thus, the entire surface of the grid, and therefore of the calibrated openings, is available to screen the grains.
    As for the brooms, they are dragged towards the exit of the grid at the same time by the helical placement of the radial tips of the drum cylinder and by its flattened end positively oriented.

    Detailed description of the invention
    The vintage separator-sorter destemmer represented in the figures essentially comprises:
    a) a rotating grid 1, generally cylindrical, provided with a plurality of calibrated openings 11 suitable for passing the grains and retaining the brooms;
    b) suitable means 2 for dragging the clusters upwards of said grid during its rotation;
    c) a rotating shaft 3 bearing a plurality of diametric bars 4 arranged spirally along it and forming opposite radial points suitable for receiving, by gravity, the bunches raised by the grid 1, to separate the grains from the bunches and to expel the brooms towards the exit at the end of the grid.

    According to the basic characteristics of the invention, the suitable means for dragging the clusters up the grid 1 during its rotation are constituted by stems 21 fixed perpendicular to the surface thereof, separated from each other so that they allow the grains and grouped in the form of combs 2 arranged along the generatrices of the perforations 11 of said grid 1 and displaced with respect to each other so that their operation is regulated.
    According to particular characteristics of the invention:
    - the stems 21 are made of polyvinyl coated steel;
    - the diametral bars 4 are made of a deformable material suitable for preserving the shape that has been given, specifically of nylon: they can be kept on the tree 3 by means of sleeves 5.
    The brooms are dragged towards the exit of the grid at the same time by the helical placement of the radial tips of the barrel of spikes and by its flattened end 41 positively oriented.
    The grid 1 and the tree 3 are connected to the frame of the destemmer using its own support and rotation means.
    Grape and juice are recovered by gravity below the rack by means of a collecting tray.
    The brooms and the leaves retained by the grid are recovered at one end of the grid by means of a conveyor.
    The tree that carries the radial tips and the grid can rotate in the same direction or in the opposite direction.
    Obviously, the invention is not limited to the modes of realization described and represented for which other variants may be provided, in particular as regards:
    - the nature, length, number, fixing means and distribution along the axis that carries the diametral bars;
    - the nature and type of grid used, as well as the dimensions, number and distribution of the calibrated openings;
    - the number of rods that constitute a comb as well as the number of combs and their placement on a given grid.

    1. - Vintage separating-sorting destemmer, comprising:
    a) a rotating grid (1), generally cylindrical, provided with a plurality of calibrated openings (11) suitable for passing the grains and retaining the brooms;

    during its rotation;
    c) a rotating shaft (3) carrying a plurality of diametral bars (4) spirally arranged along it and forming opposite radial points suitable for receiving, by gravity, the clusters raised by the grid (1), to separate the grains from the 10 clusters and to expel the brooms towards the exit at the end of the rack.
